Wear Your Waste - Philadelphia University Annual Student Fashion Show

The student designers of Philadelphia University created and hosted their annual design X fashion show called, “wear your waste.”

Student designers created a unique and interesting collection inspired by nature, games and music, food and ‘trash.’

They're used materials you would have not thought of using to create clothing, they used mostly trash materials such as; trash bags, shower curtains, and insulation.

For someone who does not have the talent and the creative imagination, you would not be able to come up with the collection they featured, if you haven’t known of the materials, you really would have not guessed it.

They were impressive.

Some of the student designers used donated materials; products bought at Home Depot and recycled plastics and fabrics to create their incredibly fantastic and interesting designs.

They have also made use of used clothing, garbage bags, shoulder pads and videocassette tape.

The show gained a lot of positive responses, it was evident that the crowd was impressed and loved it; you here frequent wows from the audience and a lot of smiles and nods.

Anybody who has the sense of fashion and eye for art would see the talent and creativity invested in each of the collection pieces.

It was an exciting show, gave the designers the opportunity to showcase their talents and a challenge that pushed them to explore the limits of their creativity and embrace cutting-edge design concepts.
