Fashion Show Rocks Downtown

A touch of New York, Paris and Milan came to Columbus when the lights went up yesterday night on the Columbus College of Art and Design's annual Fashion Show.

"You don't even feel like you're in Columbus" said Sarah Wong, one of 21 seniors showing their work. Hundreds of guests lined the white runway as loud music and shifting lights created a frenzied atmosphere. "It's an unreal feeling" she said. read more...

Ethical Fashion

The Fresher’s Fashion Show is an event hosted by and showcases works and designs of the talented and creative student designers from the University of Glamorgan.

The show was called, “ethical fashion” because their designs sends message and shows us that there are so many recyclable things and that we can make something of value from it instead of piling up wastes over wastes that destroys the environment the earth that we live on.

The whole show was made by design and promotion students. They worked in groups of four, where two would design and create pieces to be featured on the runways while other will do the promotions and search for models who would walk the piece.

The most interesting and what amazes the crowd is the knowledge of how

They only spent two days and yet the pieces they have produced were exquisite, and you can really see how much they have paid attention to every intricate detail on every design.

You would have not guessed that they used recycled materials, looking at how well constructed each of the outfits the models wore.

They only have little time, the materials used were definitely not the ones you have on mind you’re your plan is to create a stand out piece, yet they were able to produce more than the expected. It only shows how much talents each designer’s student are.

If they can make incredibly gorgeous piece out wastes, then what more if they use real fabrics?little time each of the designers has to create such unique and creative collection.
